What We Do

Camp C.L.I.M.B. is a Monday-Friday day camp where boys and girls, ages 8-12, get to hike, bike, paddle, swim and enjoy the freedom of being outside! At Camp C.L.I.M.B. we understand the importance of nature in the physical and cognitive development of children. We know that when kids are given opportunities to explore in nature they develop:

· Stronger fine & gross motor skills,

· An increased ability to focus on tasks,

· A broader sense of creativity,

· Extended observation skills and

· An enhanced ability to ask and find answers to questions.

Our job at Camp C.L.I.M.B. is to get kids outside in tents, in hammocks, in boots, on bikes and on the water! They’ll be having so much fun, they won’t even realize they are attending the most advanced social and natural science classes they’ve ever been to.

Jen's Story

Hi, I'm Jen Miller!

My husband Doug and I are the creators of Camp C.L.I.M.B.

I grew up hiking, climbing and skiing in the beautiful mountains of Northern Utah and I have enjoyed camping and outdoor activities since I was a little girl. When I became a mom I felt compelled to share with my children the beauty and serenity that can be found in natural spaces. I also wanted to share with them the fun challenges that nature exposes us to.

Because of this, I have been taking my three boys camping since before they could walk! We spend many weeks every year camping, hiking, biking and climbing together. Now that my boys are getting older, they want to bring their friends on our outings. In fact, they want to bring so many friends, that I felt we should get more adults involved in order to make our outings safe! That's when we decided to start a summer camp!

So come to camp with us! Join our group of friends as we sleep, eat and play in the outdoors! Come C.L.I.M.B. with us!!
